Purpose of Position

Reporting to the Head of Global Investor Services, the position is a managerial role that covers two areas: supporting Tier 3 investors and, planning, leading, and executing local and global projects aimed at improving and automating Investor Relations (“IR”) processes. The successful candidate must have worked in a role where they have had extensive experience in AML collation and Transfers of Interest.

As a Senior Associate in the Investor Services team, the successful candidate will manage the Investor Services team and also take a leading role in identifying, planning, managing, and executing projects which impact the global I R team.

A substantial part of the role focuses on how we as a team within the wider IR function can improve on our processes and systems to better service our clients. This focus also includes supporting the IR team by leading on processes such as closings, transfers of interest and document collation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Investor Services team, their career progression and meeting team objectives by supporting development, providing timely advice and feedback and by sharing knowledge and experience
  • Lead the Investor Services team in the support of Tier 3 clients through reviewing data streams, processes, interactions with other teams and system development
  • Plan, lead and execute local and global projects aimed to simplify, improve, and automate client service activities
  • Support, co-ordinate and assist the Relationship Manager(s) with the day-to-day management of Tier 3 clients
  • Independently coordinate, produce, and analyse presentation materials, cash flow forecasts, fee/performance data, due diligence materials, etc.
  • Maintain and analyse detailed records of client and prospecting activities to support the Relationship Manager(s) with re-ups
  • Lead the closing/transfer process for new and existing investors
  • Independently coordinate and support end to end RFP processes by collecting and preparing data and guide the RFP team as required
  • Establish and maintain relationships with teams across Pantheon as well as external service providers to produce and collate relevant and value add data and ensure both data and client/prospect activities are compliant
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and Pantheon policy including reporting compliance risks and maintaining appropriate standards of conduct
  • Independently lead the coordination and support the end-to-end process of collating updated client documents globally

  • Strong knowledge of the asset management and Private Market industry
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong team management skills
  • Extensive experience in AML collation and Transfer of Interest processes
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, discretion and judgement
  • Strong analytical skills and a high level of initiative
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines/under pressure with minimum supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proficiency with computers and software packages; Excel and PowerPoint and also CRM systems
  • Educated to degree level is essential
  • The IMC or equivalent may be necessary at a later stage
