Salary: £25000 - £29,000 dependant on experience
12 month Fixed Term Contract

Position Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Supply Chain team
at York as an Import Shipper looking after Northern Ireland and
Republic Of Ireland.

A day in
the life of an Ireland Inter Market Supply Shipper
Your role will be to execute the end-to-end Ireland customs,
regulatory and documentation processes to allow stock to flow smoothly
between the UK and Northern Ireland and Republic Of Ireland
Key responsibilities for this role include:
• Manage the flow of information, customs declarations and
regulatory paperwork to enable all Irish orders to depart on time from
the UK for successful first-time clearance on arrival
•
Prepare the Customs paperwork and be able to provide the necessary
information to customs authorities if the container is selected for
inspection Have knowledge of how to apply for DEFRA certification if
it is a product requirement.
• Liaise with external and
internal agencies to help resolve issue both UK and Irish side.
•
Provide timely and accurate progress information to stakeholders of
their inbound/outbound shipments, including WOR/DOR reviews.
•
Be aware of and implement any changes in importing/ exporting
regulations.
• Have an awareness of the Return Goods Relief
process to reduce duty costs to Nestle Ireland
• Capture and
maintenance of import factory declarations to ensure the smooth
forwarding of stock to NI/ROI for both Nestle and our customers.
• Fully root cause issues and help implement long term solutions to
continuously improve the process.
• Assist with UK based
customer queries and requirements to help them move goods to Ireland
via their own networks.
What will make you successful
We are looking for someone that is comfortable in
working with stakeholders both internally and externally and is happy
to challenge and work towards resolutions. The successful candidate
will have a flexible approach to working hours and the ability to work
well as part of a wider team.
• High degree of accuracy

Ability to demonstrate a customer service mindset
• Knowledge
of Windows systems and preferably SAP
• Some exposure to
international trade processes and procedures would be advantageous
