Node.JS Developer
Banking
Contract - inside IR35 - £750
London - 1 day per week in office
A banking client are looking for a Node.JS developer/ engineer with experience focusing on data services development.
With this in mind we're looking for strong Node experience, an understanding of unstructured data (inc NoSql databases such as MongoDB).
You'll be working in a Linux environment so experience in a Linux environment helpful, as is a grounding in either C#/ Java Development to integrate with the wider code base. However this isn't essential - back end JavaSript using Node is the primary skill.
Key responsibilities include ongoing support, maintenance and promotion of shared enterprise application infrastructure assets (APIs, core data services, GUIs).
Whilst banking experience isn't essential - experience working in large, complex, ideally regulated environments is important.
Although it's a role in a bank, this is a highly technical team with a tech-driven culture.
This is a mostly remote role, so open to Node Developers living anywhere in the UK willing to travel once per week to central London.
Rate is around £750 per day inside IR35 but this is negotiable.
