Director, NI Fulfilment (Custom/Mid-Range and LPH)

We are currently recruiting for a Director NI MOD Fulfilment, (Custom, Mid-Range and Large Projects Hub) to be based out of our Addlestone Office. The successful applicant will actively manage the project Managers to ensure that project outputs are being delivered on schedule, to budget and to the required quality, all in alignment with contractual commitments, and terms and conditions. They will also be experts in communication and set examples to all team members in areas of personal character, commitment, organisational and installation skills, and work habits. This is a permanent and full time position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive the adoption of Schindler core values as well as a high-performance culture
  • Lead & ensure the adoption of people & product safety standards by all team members on all projects
  • Lead and ensure the adoption of the quality KPIs by all team members on all projects
  • Lead a team of project managers and field managers to deliver NI/MOD custom & large projects – including high-rise, from late tender stages through to design, pre-installation, installation & finally handover
  • Prepare the budgeting process, maintaining monthly revenue & profitability forecast and mitigate deviations from budget.
  • Lead the team to maximise project profitability, by managing a detailed and thorough variation/change order process
  • Collaborate and work closely with subcontractor management & procurement to identify & implement cost savings in the projects supply chain
  • Support and engage in tenders with key customers to maximise chances of winning. That includes, support on costing and mid-post tender presentations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers: main contractors, developers & consultants
  • Identify and pursue major potential customers to drive and support strategic growth objectives
  • Ensure the full team adherence to FF+ / TREX processes as well as implementation of project management tools to continuously improve project execution efficiency
  • Collaborate with group FF to implement and share BDPs
 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent (Engineering degree preferred)
  • 3–5 years’ Site management experience
  • Proven Project Management, commercial, technical and installation experience with ability to translate specification & construction issues into workable solutions
  • Thorough knowledge of design and construction processes
  • Experience in training and coaching others in an engaging and efficient manner
  • Ability to manage a team and to work within a team framework
  • Proficient in MS Office and MS Project
  • Reasoning and problem-solving skills – with ability to think laterally
  • Full understanding and proven adherence to FF+ / TREX
  • Knowledge of SAP reporting functions
  • Proven track record in driving business process improvement
  • Good financial acumen and knowledge of SAP reporting functions
  • High standard of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels (chair large meetings)
  • Motivated by results and strives to exceed expectations
  • Self -starter, enthusiastic work ethic, able to prioritise/deal with large workload fluctuations and work under pressure
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task at a high level whilst remaining calm under pressure
