Job Title: Junior CAD Engineer

Working Model / Location: Full time / On site

Salary + Benefits: Up to £30,000

Aspion Search are currently seeking a talented CAD Engineer to join a leading laser cutting business that has evolved into a comprehensive fabrication and manufacturing powerhouse, offering a full spectrum of services from design inception to final production. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize CAD software to create detailed drawings and models for laser cutting, forming, fabrication, and water jet cutting processes
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret design requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Assist in the optimization of production processes for efficiency and quality improvement
• Support prototype development and testing phases, ensuring designs meet performance standards and client expectations
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing innovative solutions and suggesting enhancements to existing workflows

About You:  

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) with a strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as laser cutting, forming, fabrication, and water jet cutting is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards challenges
