Full Job Description

The process of waste disposal is currently difficult, with few companies providing digital options that put sustainability at the core of their operations. Moreover, fly-tipping in the UK is costing the government over £1 billion per year. Litta aims to solve this problem by developing an easy-to-use, affordable and sustainable waste removal service. Our platform connects customers and businesses with approved licensed waste carriers. Over 96% of items collected through our platform is recycled and diverted from landfills.

Litta has recently raised £2 million, which will be invested in expansion across the UK. Read about us . The ideal candidate loves talking to people and proactively solving issues. You will be responsible for converting customers into passionate patrons.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all jobs are allocated, with the inclusion of intra job management
• Liaising with service partners to ensure they are fully aware of their jobs 
• Ensuring that job allocation is logical and achievable and time slot are met
• Identify areas where we have excess capacity and low capacity
• Provide a listing of areas that we have both excess and low capacity and recommendations to rectify
• Provide an up to date listing of service partners that are working on the weekend and ensure we have sufficient capacity to meet weekend demand
• Provide an up to date listing of service partners that are working during pending bank holidays and ensure we have sufficient capacity to meet weekend demand
• Providing suggestions on how to improve the job allocation process/make it more efficient
• We expect that in the short term you will assist the customer service team when you have capacity

Previous experience

• 1 year of experience in route planning would be preferred, but not essential
• Excellent phone etiquette and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task, organise, and prioritise work
