  • Our client is an immersive mental wellness platform that uses XR technology, expert guidance, and data-driven insights to empower individuals to optimise their mental wellbeing and perform at their peak.
  • They are seeking a highly skilled and talented Junior Technical Artist to join their team and contribute to the creation of stunning artwork for their Virtual and Mixed Reality Breathwork and Meditation experiences.
  • As a Junior Technical Artist, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between art and technology, ensuring seamless integration of visual elements within the extended reality (VR/AR/MR) environment.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the art and development teams to create visually captivating and immersive virtual and mixed reality experiences for breathwork and meditation.
  • Utilize your technical expertise to implement art assets, optimize performance, and troubleshoot visual issues across various extended reality platforms.
  • Ensure high-quality standards for visual fidelity, performance optimization, and artistic consistency throughout the development process.
  • Contribute to the development of tools, workflows, and pipelines to streamline the creation and integration of art assets in the virtual and mixed reality environments.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques related to extended reality (VR/AR/MR) art development.

 

Skill Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Technical Artist, preferably in the extended reality (VR/AR/MR) field.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your proficiency in creating visually stunning and immersive artwork for virtual and mixed reality experiences.
  • Proficient in industry-standard software and tools, such as Unity, Blender, Houdini, Maya, 3ds Max, or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of real-time rendering, shading, lighting, and optimisation techniques for extended reality platforms.
  • Knowledge of scripting and programming languages (e.g., C#, Python) to develop and implement custom tools or shaders is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
