Are you a vibrant teaching assistant looking for a fresh challenge?
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a Key Stage 2
Teaching Assistant for a Primary School located on the outskirts of
the Winchester area.
As a successful candidate you will be
providing a nurturing and caring environment for all pupils to excel
and ensuring the best education possible.
You will be
supporting students one-to-one or in small groups with their learning,
as well as supporting the classroom teacher in their duties. You are
likely to be supporting students with autism, learning difficulties,
SEMH & behavioural challenges.
The role has the possibility of additional pay through the school's wrap around care scheme. This would involve be a staff member in a breakfast and or after school club.
Previous experience working within a school setting
and/or special educational needs would be advantageous, but not
essential as ongoing training will be offered throughout the role.

GBP 85 (negotiable)
Experience, Training and Qualifications
required for the Teaching Assistant role:
Previous
experience working with children and young people (desired)
Pro-active attitude in the classroom and a willingness to join in with
class activities
A passion for supporting children with autism &
complex needs
You should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with
a positive attitude towards working with SEN students
To be
eligible as a Teaching Assistant role through Prospero Teaching you
must
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child
barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
or be willing to process a new application
Provide two
professional child related references
