Full Job Description
Our client, an International Financial Institution, is seeking a LME Sales Executive to join their team on a permanent basis.
**It is essential to have worked in LME Sales previously. Unfortunately our client will not accept any applications from candidates that do not have LME Sales experience.**
Candidates
from either Metals/Commodity Sales trading background would be
considered.
Main duties:
Talk to and advise customers on LME
products. Quote prices to customers and transact on behalf of company
To deal electronically on behalf of customers through systems
provided by company
To request margin payments from customers when
required
To cement current relationships and proactively search for
new customers
Ensure regulatory and commercial conduct towards
customers is always professional
Liaise with Risk and Compliance
Departments where necessary for the development of existing and
prospective business
Report any event or news, both unsubstantiated
and substantiated in the marketplace, which may have material affect
company counterparty risk or position in the market place.
Report
to the appropriate Manager/Officer any matters which may be required
under appropriate regulatory or legal requirements
Be knowledgeable
of all products that are marketed
Maintain your level of knowledge
and skills concerning the market and products for which you are active
Key skills:
Good understanding of credit, compliance, and
risk issues
Good knowledge of banking instruments
General
customer care skills
Knowledge of market competition
