LV/HV Jointer

Location: North Yorkshire, England
Duration: 3-6-months
Rate: £250 - £300 per day
Start Date: ASAPTurner Lovell is recruiting for an international contractor who delivers multiple renewable energy projects throughout the UK. We are searching for an experienced LV Jointer to work on Substation and Grid connection projects across the UK.
Turner Lovell is looking for LV Jointers to carry out all aspects of cable jointing activities, have an excellent understanding of cable jointing practices, and the importance of safety focus whilst carrying out work.
Duties:

Perform jointing and terminations of LV electrical cables on-site.
Install, repair, and maintain electrical distribution equipment, including switchgear, transformers, and other electrical assets.
Carry out inspections and tests on electrical equipment and cables to identify and resolve faults or prove safe to connect to the distribution network.
Work with a team of skilled operatives and engineers to ensure the efficient and safe operations of the distribution network.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during work execution.Requirements:

Proven experience as an Electrical Distribution Jointer with a minimum of 2 years experience on-site.
Experience and knowledge terminating 630LV cables
Tickets required for the position: CCNSG - Safety Passport,
Further qualification (HNC, HND, Degree, apprenticeship, NVQ), Wiring Regulations certification - desirable.
Experience working on a project in a H&S critical environment.
Ability to work both independently and within a team.
Willingness to learn, communicate and uphold SHEQ / other required standards, whilst on site
