Job Title: Bricklayer's Labourer

Overview:
Clearfield Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated Bricklayer's Labourer to support our client's construction team in Peterborough. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to gain valuable experience in the construction industry. No CSCS card is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Assistance with Bricklaying Tasks: Provide support to Bricklayers by assisting with the preparation of materials, mixing mortar, and carrying bricks.
Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, organizing materials, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
Tool Management: Assist in the organization and maintenance of bricklaying tools and equipment, ensuring they are readily available and in good working condition.
Material Handling: Safely transport bricks, blocks, and other construction materials around the site using appropriate lifting and handling techniques.
Mixing Mortar: Prepare mortar mixes according to specifications, ensuring consistency and quality for bricklaying activities.
General Labour: Undertake various general labour tasks as required, including digging trenches, filling foundation trenches, and assisting with concrete pouring.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures on the construction site, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Requirements:

Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with Bricklayers and other team members.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
No CSCS Card Required: This position does not require a CSCS card; however, previous experience in a construction-related role is advantageous.
Additional Information:

Location: The construction site is based in Peterborough, with potential for travel to nearby areas depending on project requirements.
Duration: This is a temporary position for an initial period of 2 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.
Schedule: Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed to meet project deadlines.
Remuneration: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience and skills.
