Landscape Estimator

Location: Surrey

Salary: Up to £55,000/annum (Depending on Experience)

A leading landscape design and construction firm, specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects, is seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Estimator to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in estimating and budgeting for landmark projects, rooftop garden developments, exhibitions, and other unique and special ventures.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for landscaping projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors.

2.

Project Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of project specifications, drawings, and requirements to develop comprehensive and competitive estimates.

3.

High-End Landscaping Expertise: Utilize experience in high-end residential or commercial landscaping to provide valuable insights into project requirements and cost implications.

4.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure seamless communication and understanding of project objectives.

5.

Site Visits: Conduct on-site visits as needed to assess project conditions, gather relevant information, and make informed estimations.

6.

Vendor and Supplier Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and availability of materials.

7.

Documentation: Create detailed documentation of estimates, including breakdowns of costs, assumptions, and any qualifications or exceptions.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Proven experience as a Landscape Estimator in residential or commercial landscaping, with a focus on high-end projects.

* Strong understanding of landscaping materials, techniques, and industry best practices.

* Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.

* Familiarity with relevant software tools for estimation.

* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Location and Work Environment:

This is a predominately office-based role in Surrey, with a hybrid working expectation between site visits and home. The role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative and prestigious projects within the landscaping industry
