Laser operator /setter requiredSheet Metal Industry
Based in Colwick commutable from Nottingham, Hyson Green, Bulwell, Hucknall and surrounding areas
Up to £15.00 per hour
Day shift
Mon - Thursday
06.00 - 16.00
Friday 07.00 - 14.00
Our established Sheet Metal Manufacturing client is currently recruiting for an experienced Laser operator with setting and ideally programming experience
Job Purpose:
The successful Laser Operator/Setter will be responsible for laser cutting metal and fibre products as per engineering drawings. This will involve setting and operating Bystronic laser machines
Duties - Laser operator and setter
- Setting and operating Amada Laser machines
- Working from engineering drawings
- Working to tight tolerances
- Inspecting parts
Key Skills of the Laser Operator /Setter
- Experience of Laser machine Setting and operating
- Programming experience desired but not essential
- Ability to understand and work from engineering drawings
- Hard working and motivated
- Keen eye for detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
The Package:
- Salary £15.00 per hour with a view to increase
- Onsite parking
- Overtime available
