Lead Artist: 3D Generalist

We have a fun new opportunity for a skilled Lead artist to join our teams. You’ll be joining a team bringing to live concepts that blend imagination, art, and future-tech to create groundbreaking attractions, events and experiences.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Art Director to ensure the Art Direction and asset delivery is of industry-leading quality.
  • Assist in driving art communication across a range of projects, internally and externally.
  • Help establish and develop the artistic style across a wide range of projects and mediums such as Real-Time, pre-rendered and projection mapped content etc.
  • Work alongside creatives, software developers and engineers for smooth content integration.
  • Both support the implementation of art direction as well as get hands on in with the production process.
  • Lean on experience to help advise and upskill team members throughout production.
  • Assist in the line management of the team.
  • Flexibly work on a range of aspects of production from concept prototyping to 3D modelling, texturing, lighting, and animation.
  • Create content for pre-rendered and rendered mediums.
  • Identify and raise any risks or issues as you find them to the Leadership Team.


Your Skills:

  • Personable and able to energise and rally teams
  • Demonstrable knowledge of 3D modelling, environment creation and animation in 3Ds Max or Maya or other.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Substance 3D
  • Great eye for composition, lighting and a high level of attention to details while adhering to deadlines
  • A proven history of delivering unique experiences and a commitment to personal development.
  • A strong understanding of real-time content pipelines, such as high to low poly workflows.


Bonus Skills

  • Knowledge of After Effects and video editing would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of 3D animation pipelines a plus.
  • Technical art skills such as knowledge in C#, MAX or MEL script.
