Job Title: Lead Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Stafford, Staffordshire
Salary / Benefits: 25k - 38k + Company Vehicle, Benefits

Market leading Asbestos Consultancy is currently recruiting for a professional Lead Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their Midlands branch. You will be undertaking the full range of asbestos surveying and analytical duties to prestigious clients across the Midlands and Staffordshire area. Ideally the candidate will have experience working within an Asbestos Consultant position and will be confident in liaising with clients and providing ongoing technical support and advice. For those candidates with extensive experience within the industry and a strong technical knowledge, the client can offer opportunities to carry out some Project Management and Auditing duties as part of your role.

The client is open to receiving CVs from those with good access to the M6 / Midlands area. Including locations such as; Stoke-on-Trent, Stone, Leek, Burton upon Trent, Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Coventry, Birmingham, Cannock, Tamworth, Telford, Wolverhampton, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Solihull and Nuneaton.

Experience / Qualifications:
" P402, P403, P404 with onsite experience
" Knowledge of health & safety legislation in relation to asbestos.
" IT Skills - Ideally with experience using floorplan software, Microsoft packages and TEAMS / TRACKER software.
" Experience working to UKAS standard.
" Full UK driving licence.
" Able to work well on your own or as part of a team.

Duties:
" Air Sampling and Fibre Counting
" 4 Stage clearance inspections.
" Clearance air testing, reassurance monitoring and personal monitoring.
" Calibration of equipment in accordance with HSG 264
" Carrying out Management and Demolition / Refurbishment surveys for the presence of asbestos.
" Undertaking Bulk Sampling and ensure data is recorded accurately on sample bags and labels.
" Monthly QC checks.
" Record data accurately with data capture software.
" Photographing areas of suspected asbestos within properties.
" Producing accurate site drawings using appropriate software
" Liaising directly with clients to understand their specific requirements and using these to creating site specific reports including plans, photographs, and recommendations.
" Carry out Technical Quality Assurance checks prior to report being issues by clients.
" Undertaking independent audits of contractors' removal / remediation work.
" Providing onsite training and support to trainee site staff.
" Supervision of removal projects.
