Lead Developer with full stack product development experience and a passion for innovation is sought by a well-known platform house based near Birmingham.
Working at the forefront of B2C technology this Lead Developer will play a key role in improving the development roadmap working with the business to translate business requirements into platform improvements.
This role would suit a senior engineer looking to step up into a Lead role or an existing Lead or Principle Developer looking to move into a dynamic, fast paced environment with excellent autonomy to help shape the technical output of a market leader as they enter their next phase of business growth.
This Lead Developer will split their time between hands on solution development and roadmapping, product strategy, roadmap improvements & mentorship offering a varied and engaging work life.
This Lead Developer based near Birmingham should have most of the following key skills:
- Extensive experience working as a Lead Developer within a complex, product led environment
- Strong Golang development experience
- Experience working closely with product teams to translate a business requirement into technical improvements
- Node.js
- JavaScript/ Typescript
- End to end product development experience
- Team mentorship experience
- Solid cloud exposure – AWS, GCP etc
- Front end exposure would be useful – React, Next.js, Vue.js etc
- Elasticsearch understanding would be a plus
- A positive, engaging personality with the resolve to challenge when required
This Lead Developer will receive:
- Base salary of between £95,000 - £105,000
