Lead Digital Hardware Engineer - Birmingham Area - 80k - Digital Design, Hardware

Location: Birmingham area
Work Pattern: Remote (Occasional Office Presence)
Salary: 80,000 + Bonus and Company Benefits

Platform Recruitment are currently partnered with a global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced high quality pro audio products, that are on the search for a Lead Digital Hardware Engineer to build and lead a new team of engineers, contributing to the future products and strategy of the business.

Skills and Experience needed:

• Design of DSP systems
• Schematic and board layout design with knowledge of high speed and EMC
• Advanced audio algorithm development
• Experience in a senior position leading projects (and ideally managing a team)
• Background in professional audio

The candidate will have the opportunity to build their own team within the organisation, making this an exciting position for Senior Digital Hardware professionals looking to take a step into leadership in a flexible and cooperative working environment. The candidate must have a hunger for designing high quality innovative products. Leading a team and taking full responsibility for all aspects of a products development is fundamental.
