***THIS IS A FULL REMOTE WORKING ROLE FROM THE UK ONLY***

***NEED AUTOMATION TEST SKILLS IN AN OBJECT ORIENTED LANGUAGE***

***LOW LEVEL TESTING ON OPERATING SYSTEMS ESSENTIAL (WINDOWS/MAC/LINUX)***

***This is NOT a web api test role, the role involves low level testing of an agent***

Key Skills: Cross platform testing deep in the OS (Windows, Mac + Linux OS) , Automation testing (ideally C#, but will consider other OO languages) , Manual testing, Application testing , remotely supporting user desktops, VM Ware or Virtual Box, Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD

An exciting opportunity is on offer for a Lead Embedded Software Test Engineer to work for an exciting and well established SaaS Hi-tech business with a start-up feel , on a fully remote basis. The chosen Lead Embedded Software Test Engineer will be delivering a cutting edge, cloud native scalable platform, working with a talented team of engineers and testers. You will be heavily involved in managing /developing remote desktop testing frameworks that integrate with the current API, E2E test suites that report software for Linux, Windows and Mac. WEB/API TESTING IS NOT RELEVANT FOR THIS ROLE.

As a Lead Embedded Software Test Engineer , you will have strong Agile and Git experience previously liaising with software developers. You will have experience of installing VMware or VirtualBox , in order to run Linux/Mac/Windows. The role will give you the opportunity to take ownership of large parts of the testing platform . The chosen Lead Embedded Software Test Engineer will help improve the current software as well as working on greenfield production testing projects.
