Lead Practitioner of English - 'Good' Secondary School - Bexley

A 'Good' graded Secondary School in Bexley are searching for a talented Lead Practitioner of English to join their team in September 2024. This is a permanent Lead Practitioner of English position, suitable for an experienced English Teacher who has their finger on the pulse with CPD, Research and a love for English Literature & Language.

• Lead Practitioner of English
• Lead Practitioner Scale: 55,822 - 62,703 per annum
• Permanent position
• Commencing in September 2024
• Leading and developing T&L across the school
• Implemented an innovation "Next practice" for Literacy
• Ensure best practice teaching is shared across the school
• Modeling best practice in lessons
• Leading T&L development through meetings and CPD workshops
• Expertly coaching teachers to develop their teaching practice
• Supported by the academies' leadership hub including conferences, workshops and more.

CANDIDATE SPEC - Lead Practitioner of English

• Experienced English Teacher or Lead Practitioner of English
• Minimum three years English Teaching experience and some leadership experience
• Ideally suited for a current KS Coordinator, 2IC, HOD or other TLR holder within English
• UK QTS is essential
• Experience teaching high PP, EAL, SEND in an inner-city context beneficial
• Passionate about English!
