Full Job Description

Lead Quality Assurance Engineer , up to £42,000  pa depending on experience, Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week, 33 days’ holiday + excellent benefits, Permanent.

We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Quality Assurance Engineer  to join our team at an Engineering Company that specialises in the Aerospace, defence, and commercial sectors. As the Lead Quality Assurance Engineer , you will oversee and manage the inspection team, equipment and methods employed for measurement and verification of products and processes.

 Your key responsibilities will include;

• Responsibility for APQP, SPC and FAIR creation, control, sign-off and submittal.
• Support, implement and monitor all Quality Assurance systems to ensure compliance with AS9100 & AS9102  
• Control MSE/Gauge R&R of all inspection equipment
• Support company Red Table/RCCA activities
• Managing of offline programming to support production/inspection measurement and NPI Projects

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lead Quality Assurance Engineer t o join our expanding company. To be successful in this role you will have a wide knowledge of product and processes used in the manufacture of aerospace parts and assemblies, have FAIR & PPAP skills, have Knowledge of AS, ISO and NADCAP standards and be familiar with the use/programming of relevant equipment, CMM’s, Faro Arms etc. (desirable)
