Full Job Description

We are supporting a large NHS organisation in London to recruit an interim Leadership Development Manager on a 6 month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to provide expertise through facilitation and developing strategy around leadership management to the organisation.

Role responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborative working across L&D team, wider HR & OD team, other Education and Training teams;
  • To partner with the Divisional and Corporate teams using consultancy skills to ascertain needs and partnering with them to offer the most effective learning solutions to meet the capability needs;
  • Providing OD and Leadership & Management consultancy and partnering to the Divisional/ Service/ Corporate areas by using Learning Needs Analysis techniques to inform and develop relevant learning interventions to meet needs;
  • Working alongside the OD Partners and Apprenticeship lead to develop a joined-up OD and leadership agenda to enable the delivery of the Trust strategic objectives;
  • Working with the HR Business Partners to support divisional leadership and management capability needs.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Leadership qualification at Masters level education or equivalent experience;
  • End to end learning and development experience (Diagnostic, design, development, delivery);
  • Experienced at conducting learning needs analysis and developing written reports to stakeholders, and all levels of leadership;
  • Knowledge of NHS leadership challenges.
