Ashley Kate are delighted to be to be supporting a London based Client as they look to recruit a Full Time permanent Learning & Development Manager.

The salary for this role will be up to 45k with excellent benefits, and opportunities to work remotely.

About the role

The Learning & Development Manager will be supporting with the design and delivery of key Learning & Development initiatives and programmes. This role will be expected to:

  • Liaise with stakeholders to establish current and future learning objectives
  • Carry out training needs analysis activity, to include (but not limited to) assessment of technical and statutory competency and skill requirements.
  • Develop appropriate, deliverable and costed training plans
  • Support the Head of Learning & Development to create a framework for learning that is fit for purpose and well utilised across the business.
  • Coordinate key training programmes including, scheduling training sessions and communicating with delegates and training providers, managing feedback surveys and keeping line managers updated on progress.
  • Support with content creation for training modules, working with the HR Business Partnering team, SMEs and stakeholders.
  • Own and maintain the Corporate Induction programme, ensuring it remains relevant, engaging and is delivered to a high quality standard.
  • Support with the management and implementation of Apprenticeship opportunities, training provider management, and management of the Apprentice Levy account.
  • Own the L&D functionality, managing training requests and approval process, including training and sponsorship agreements, upload training modules, and run reports to support learning initiatives
  • Support the Mandatory Learning Committee and work with SMEs to develop and update mandatory learning as required, taking minute notes and following up on key actions.

Learning & Development Manager - About you

  • Proven experience of working in a training/ Learning role, essential
  • Experience of designing and delivering course content, developing a variety of training resources and materials.
  • Proficient in Learning Management Systems.
  • The ability to manage multiple training programmes simultaneously.
  • Possess experience of performing training needs analysis to identify opportunities for learning and development.
  • Possess a passion for training, learning and staff development.
  • Need to be personable, confident and well organised.
