Learning Support Assistant

Location: Wendover

Start Date: ASAP

Supply desk is pleased to be looking for Learning Support Assistant in the Wendover area. We are looking for someone that prides themselves on providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for children allowing for them to succeed to the best of their ability no matter what challenges they may face.

The role will require the following responsibilities:

• Partnering with teachers to develop and present activities.
• Collaborating closely with educators to optimise support.
• Offering personalised support to students with different learning requirements.
• Helping assess students' learning needs and tracking their progress.
• Addressing classroom challenges for students.
• Employing diverse methods to keep students engaged through interactive activities.

Inspiring and motivating students to actively engage in classroom learning

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
• Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or prior experience as a Learning Support Assistant (Unqualified then you are still welcome to apply)
• Passion for education and developing pupil’s education
• Commutable to Wendover and the surrounding areas
