Role Introduction

Do you have a strong combination of technical skills, flair for the visual and a creative mindset? Then you might be the one we are looking for.

We are hiring for a digital learning specialist who will be responsible for managing and optimising our learning management system (LMS). You will help us design, develop and deliver impactful learning solutions for employees and managers throughout Advanced.

With a proactive and hands-on approach, you will design and create learning content and experiences in a variety of digital formats including e-learning, videos, webinars, virtual classroom design and digital performance support tools for workflow integrated learning.

The role requires that you can innovate, move quickly, not be constrained by how things “used to be” and most importantly that you are ambitious, curious, and passionate about learning.

Please note this is a hybrid Birmingham role.

What You Will Do
  • Develop and implement a consistent structure for the LMS course catalogue, course offerings, and learning paths.
  • Ensure appropriate content management and curation within the LMS through working with subject matter experts and/or vendors.
  • Provide support and guidance to learners including managing user accounts, monitor system functionality, testing, and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
  • Develop best in class digital content and learning experiences
  • Proactively suggest, test and measure value of new tools and technologies to keep our approach and delivery relevant
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts within and outside Advanced
  • Monitor and report on metrics and outcomes to assess impact of initiatives
  • Support the People Experience team and other colleagues from across the business to design and deliver content via sparring and guidance
  •
What You Will Have
  • Experience within learning, instructional design, digital solutions, adult education, or other relevant experience
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency with learning management systems and content design tools
  • Proficiency using the Articulate 360 suite (Rise and Storyline) or similar tools
  • Proficiency in multimedia editing tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Premiere
  • Ability to work with everything from static assets to GIF animations and videos
  • Experience in delivering digital learning and working on multiple learning projects simultaneously while still meeting deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  •
