Lecturer of Exercise Science (Non-Tenure Track)

Job Description
The Exercise Science ( EXSC ) program is seeking a full-time lecturer on a 10-month appointment, starting July 2023. Duties include teaching undergraduate courses and service to the university, profession, and community. The possibility of graduate instruction exists for the successful candidate with an earned doctoral degree and appointment as a graduate faculty member. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate a commitment to diversity and a willingness to work in a multicultural setting. Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate would have prior experience doing the following: Earned doctoral degree (or ABD with a completion date prior to July 25th, 2023) in EXSC or a related field Teaching EXSC courses at the undergraduate or graduate level Supervising Student Internships as a faculty member or host site supervisor Academic advising Work in a preventive or rehabilitative fitness setting Certification by ACSM , NSCA , or other reputable body
