Full Job Description

Manpower are recruiting for an outstanding position that one of our clients have available for a Lifting Inspection Engineer to join their team. This is a full-time position with a 39-hour workweek, and the salary will be discussed during the interview stage. In addition to Lifting Inspection work, responsibilities include tasks such as load testing, pull testing, occasional destructive testing, manning the rigging loft, and inspection of lifting accessories.

The client attracts and retains talented employees who align with the capabilities needed. A comprehensive range of training programs is provided, from manufacturer courses to advanced courses. Experience in the lifting equipment industry is preferred, and qualifications such as LEEA or an Entry-level Engineering Mechanics NVQ/City & Guilds are desirable but not essential.

Other requirements include:

  • Experience in a testing environment
  • Right to work in the UK
  • LOLER/PUWER
  • LEEA Qualification
  • Detail-oriented with good problem-solving abilities and a practical approach
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to analyze and share knowledge
  • Full training will be provided, but experience in an engineering environment is desirable
  • Ability to support the business unit/team in delivering the ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver
  • Full UK driver's license
