The Welwyn & Hatfield office are now looking to recruit Live-In Care Professionals who are available for short-term projects, covering other care pro's statutory breaks and holidays.

We have a short term need commencing on the 30/10/2023 for a highly skilled professional with MND & PEG Feeding tube experience. We can update your experience with additional training if your experience is a little out of date, but it is essential that you have gained these skills and are experienced.

We will have other projects commencing so whatever your experience if you are happy to be offered work relieving other care professionals to enable them to have their statutory breaks then we will be delighted to hear from you.

Job Description

Our client has very specific needs and these include:

Mandatory:

* Must have some experience of both Motor Neurone Disease & PEG Feeding tube.

* Must have clear verbal communications skills.

* Ability to read body language signs.

* Patience is crucial.

To Support the following:

* Bathing & personal care and assisting with toilet & continence care.

* Meal Preparation & light housework.

* Helping with mobility & keeping active.

* Medication reminders.

* Running errands & trips out of the house.

Other tasks include ensuring her phone is charged, managing laundry, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration and monitoring the clients well-being and comfort.

Pay Rates for this project will be £130.00 per day plus meal allowance & travel.

Qualifications

We do require all Live in Care professionals have an Enhanced Adult DBS preferably registered on the Update Service, with the Right to Work in the UK which will be established later during any interview process.

For this assignment a car would be beneficial but is not crucial.

Other assignments may need the live-in carer to have their own car.

Additional Information

We are also interested in Live-In care professionals and as a Live In Care Professional, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi.  In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support and high rates of pay.
