Job Description

As a Lloyds Bank Islands financial services professional apprentice, you'll gain an experience across a number of different areas including, Coverage, Products and Risk, which will enable you to discover how different business areas operate and function across our organisation to strengthen your development for the future. This is your opportunity to join a pioneering front office apprenticeship programme and operate in an extremely dynamic, exciting division, while gaining a professional qualification at the same time. 

Your apprenticeship will take around three years to complete, and cover key areas such as: 

  • client and customer relationships 

  • delivering services 

  • financial services legal and regulatory framework 

  • strategy and planning

  • problem solving and decision making 

As part of this apprenticeship, you will have the option to achieve the Chartered Banker Institute (CBI) Advanced Diploma in Banking and Leadership in a Digital Age qualification.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Our main requirement is that you to have a passion for the role you’re applying for! Aside from this we have a few formal requirements:

Education:

  • GCSE English and maths at grades 4 – 9 or equivalent. If you do not hold the required GCSE grades, you’ll need to complete maths and English qualifications alongside your apprenticeship

AND

  • Minimum of 104 UCAS points (or equivalent)

Location:

  • You should live a commutable distance from the location in this advert. Our work style is hybrid and you should expect to be in the office at least 2 days per week.

Additional Requirements:

  • You’ll be aged at least 18 years old when the apprenticeship starts.

  • You’ll have left school in the last year.

FOR INFORMATION : due to Home Office requirements regarding Skilled Workers, we’re unable to accept applications for visa sponsorship for our apprenticeship roles as the proposed salary for the role does not meet the minimum threshold.

You must also be a resident in the Island for the role you are applying for - if this is not the case, please consider looking for other vacancies which may be more suitable.
