Loan IQ Business Analyst

Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Loan IQ Business Analyst to join our team. In this crucial role, you will work closely with various stakeholders, including business stakeholders, operations users, controls teams, technology teams, and testing managers, to understand current business processes and design the Target Operating Model (TOM) and associated requirements documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Product Owner, leveraging extensive subject matter expertise in the relevant business domain and technology platform.
• Drive the design and documentation of the Target Operating Model processes, focusing on simplification, standardization, and automation, while making recommendations around process, system, and organizational structure.
• Lead governance activities, ensuring robust planning, scheduling, documentation, and sign-offs.
• Liaise with stakeholders and drive the documentation of business requirements, process flows, gap analysis, and supporting data analysis.
• Ensure target processes are defined with robust controls in place, collaborating with the Controls and Rigour teams.
• Manage process mapping teams and ensure they contribute to the required documentation.
• Prepare and secure stakeholder sign-offs on future state design decisions and Go/No-Go decisions.
• Provide regular updates and track progress on systems and automation changes, testing requirements, and the impact on affected business areas.
• Understand the impact of planned initiatives, deployment schedules, and timelines on processes and business areas, ensuring all business scenarios are integrated into project documentation, procedures, and testing scripts.
• Ensure that the business understands the impact of the change, the required testing regime, and can accommodate and derive the intended benefits from the planned changes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Exceptional ability to drive strategic business process design, associated workflow, and documentation.
• Proven knowledge of relevant business processes and procedures.
• Experience with documentation tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Knowledge of Loan IQ
• Ability to lead and manage teams to deliver project outcomes.
• Extensive experience in rolling out strategic and tactical change across large organizations.
• Strong understanding of Target Operating Model (TOM) and ability to document detailed processes.
• Knowledge of relevant products and their attributes, as well as familiarity with key IT/systems.
• Preferred experience with Agile project management, specific technology platforms, and working in a relevant industry (e.g., Corporate/Investment Banking/Consulting).
