Full Job Description
HRGO is looking for a French Speaking Logistics Coordinator, for a
busy freight company in Dover. Ideally candidates will have some
logistics experience, but it is not essential. Duties entail,
monitoring live, urgent transport movements; keeping clients informed
of shipment progress; and maintaining a bespoke transport management
system, in line with company procedures. You must be organised,
reliable and be able to work in a busy environment. French language
(spoken and written) is essential.
Job Responsibilities:
Work closely with Team Leader to ensure best practice
Have a
good understanding of European driving regulations and bans, and the
impact they may have on transport planning
Escalate delays in
transport and identified problems to the Team Leader, provide options
for a resolution to allow effective communication with the client
Work closely with our supplier management team to highlight any
gaps in carrier coverage & maintain excellent relationships with our
carriers
Ensure carrier non-conformance's are recorded and
escalated as per the agreed quality process.
This position
will be a Monday to Friday role, working on a 9-hour rotational shift.
