Job Title:  Logistics Coordinator

Location:  Leeds

Salary:  £24,(Apply online only) - £26,(Apply online only)

Work Type:  Office Based

Logistics Coordinator Role:

Interaction are delighted to be working with a leading West Yorkshire-based market research company looking to welcome a lively, enthusiastic Logistics Coordinator with a to join their dynamic team. The successful Logistics Coordinator will be organised, have outstanding attention to detail and be a strong communicator. You will be comfortable splitting your time between sitting at a desk and the getting stuck in physically with deliveries. The key function of the role will be supporting a team of project managers who oversee multiple market research projects, with a focus on product testing.

Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:  

  • Organising logistics of product trials, including unpacking, re-packing and shipping of trial products.
  • Lifting, carrying, and organising boxes/items will be a part of your daily routine (relevant training will be provided).
  • Labelling stock and taking inventory. 
  • Booking couriers via an online system for outbound and inbound shipments.
  • Liaising with product testers to confirm dates for both inbound & outbound shipments.
  • Maintaining stock levels of all packaging materials.
  • Organising payments for product testing participants.
  • Maintenance of equipment log and stock.
  • Elements of telephone work including quality checking of product testing respondents and participation reminders.
  • General administration duties as required to fulfil this role and support the team.

Logistics Coordinator Requirements:

  • Strong computer literacy skills (particularly Word/Excel)
  • Passionate about delivering results.
  • Great communicator. 
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Collaborative teamwork abilities, with a strong ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Great planning capabilities.
  • Good customer relationship and communication skills, both written and on the telephone.
  • Great attention to detail
