Full Job Description

Pertemps West Bromwich are recruiting for a Logistics Planner to join an Industrial supplier near the West Bromwich town centre. This will be a temporary to permanent position after a successful trial period.

Hours are Monday to Friday (Apply online only). The successful candidate will be asked to be flexible depending on business needs.

The pay rate is 11.44 per hour but can be negotiated for experienced candidates.

Duties include but are not limited to the below:

• Manage the day to day running of the yard
• Ensure all staff are at work for the correct start time
• Deal with any issues regarding the yard i.e. stock shortages, FLT issues etc
• Plan drivers routes accordingly, sticking to drivers' guidelines and to make the route as fuel efficient as possible
• Arrange container shipment in and of the country
• Organize quarterly stock takes
• Data inputting
• Arrange for trucks 6 weekly inspections in the absence of the transport manager
