The company

A MEP project director is required for a leading data centre contractor for a major development in Europe. You will be working on a major data centre project for one of the leading tech clients. This organisation offers excellent development and career opportunities.

This role will require you to work on site in Europe when the project moves to site.

Could this role be for you?

As the MEP Project Director you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of various data centre news build and refresh projects. Initially the role will require you to be engaged with pre-construction as the project is readied for development. You will be required to work very closely with the client and therefore it is essential you have previous client facing experience on a data centre project. When on site you will be required to oversee all aspects of the MEP and manage appointed supply chain partners.

It is essential that you have previously held a senior project manager or project director position on data centre projects.

Candidate requirements:

• A proven track record on technical projects.
• Data centre project experience - ideally direct for the client.
• Experience of projects from design through to delivery.
• Excellent client facing skills.
• Educated to HNC or above in electrical/mechanical engineering, construction, or building services.
