Printer/Photocopier Business Development Executive

Basic salary up to £28,000 + excellent bonuses (Estimated OTE £45,000+)

Our screening questions:
  • Are you experienced in MPS business development?
  • Have you been responsible for sales of any photocopiers or printers?
  • Have you sold Konica and Kyocera?
  • Do you have experience in selling Canon, Xerox, Ricoh equipment?
  • Do you have experience with any of the following: M2, Lynbrook, Alto Digital, Apogee, FH Brown, Azzurri, Bal Reed, Danwoods, BBT, Crest, Copyrite, Docucentric, Arena

*Experience in Managed Print Services sales is essential* This is an opportunity for a driven, target oriented Business Development Executive/Field Sales Representative to work for a highly successful leading managed print services company, developing new business and reaping excellent rewards for doing so. You will be allowed to work in your own way, to your own KPIs, your only target will be a GP target per quarter, and wherever possible, you will be given a ‘patch’ to sell close to your own home.

Working with a growing, ambitious company that partners with major industry leaders such as Konica Minolta and Kyocera, you will be given a business development patch in an area convenient to you, and solid support from the company, to facilitate your business development. Excellent rewards available for strong performers.

The role
An experienced Managed Print Services Business Development Executive or Field Sales Representative is needed to sell a full portfolio of services and solutions from office photocopiers, printers and integrated business solutions, to service and support.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Developing new business including:
    • Identification of target clients
    • Identification of best method of approach
    • Engaging target clients with a view to outlining the company offering
    • Arousing target clients interest in the offering
    • Achieving success via sales to target clients
    • Seeking to develop newly established relationship with new clients and target clients, with a view to upselling where possible
    • Working towards weekly and monthly targets as allocated by management
    • Maintain positive and strong communications with the company on your progress at all times
    • Potential for future account management of existing clients at a later date
The company will, wherever possible, allocate you a ‘patch’ to sell close to your own home.

My client is a leading supplier of office photocopiers, printers and integrated business solutions, and are looking to recruit into this role a person to join their busy, expanding team.
The company, established over 30 years ago is based in the North West, their Head Office is in Stockport, with an office in Liverpool, and they operate across the whole of the UK with the main hub of operations being throughout Lancashire, Yorkshire, Cheshire and Merseyside.

They trade on quality of service and products, making sure that they stay true to their heritage as a business, always focusing on meeting and exceeding customers needs.

The ideal person – Is this you?
We are seeking applications from people who are:
  • Experienced in sales within the Managed Print Services industry (essential)
  • Experience in selling any of the following: M2, Lynbrook, Alto Digital, Apogee, FH Brown, Azzurri, Bal Reed, Danwoods, BBT, Crest, Copyrite, Docucentric, Arena
  • Naturally able to identify and secure new business
  • Have a proven track record in sales & target achievements as a BDM/Field Sales Representative
  • A good level of maturity, able to manage & develop relationship with senior business managers
  • Capable of starting and building positive business relationships
  • Possess a competitive nature
  • Have excellent communication & negotiation skills
  • Very self-motivated
  • Able to work under your own initiative

The package
  • The successful candidate will be rewarded with:
    Basic up to £28,000
  • Potential OTE of £45,000+OTE
  • Company vehicle provided or option for Car Allowance
  • (Pool car used during probationary period, own new car ordered once probation is passed)
  • Fuel card provided – Fully expensed
  • Pension
  • 20 days hols & Bank Hols, increases 1 day per year after 4 years
  • Wherever possible, you will be given a ‘patch’ to sell close to your own home.
