25,000 + 6% bonus + O/T + 100p/m cost of living support, 22 days holiday, S63, days only

Machine operator job

Working safely in an engineering machine shop

Moving 3m stock bars with FLT and overhead crane

Cutting accurately to size using measuring equipment

Finishing with a range of techniques including sawing, grinding, milling, and turning

Requirements of the machine operator

We would expect the successful candidate to have experience within a machine shop, using a range of tools and equipment. Experience of machining metal components as well as an FLT licence and overhead crane. A qualification in engineering would be ideal along with some H&S training

Machine operator benefits include

Pay rate: 12 p/hr for 40 hrs (25k)

Hours: 7am to 3.30pm Mon-Fri

Overtime: Paid at x1.5 after 3.30pm (40hrs)

Bonus: 6% paid monthly (if no scraps)

Holidays: 22 days + Stats
