Salary
: £45,000 to £47,500 per annum, plus overtime paid at x1.5
and x2.0, benefits & opportunities
Hours: Monday
to Friday 7am to 5pm
Location: Commutable from
Doncaster, Thorne, Scunthorpe, Howden, Selby, Brigg, Gainsborough, and
surrounding areas

We are
recruiting for a reputable and growing manufacturer who are expanding
and looking for a reliable and dedicated Mechanical Maintenance Team
Leader, either discipline considered (mechanical or multi skilled) to
work within their fast moving manufacturing
environment.
Responsibilities
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, your role is
to join and manage a team of 15 Mechanical Maintenance Engineers,
coordinating and completing Reactive and Planned Preventative
Maintenance and Project work covering the 4 factories.
The role
is 85% team leading and 15% hands on, working across the 4 factories.
It will be responsible for driving performance and standards and
ensuring the delivery of set KPI's. Promoting and driving the
scheduling of the PPM.
Using a hands-on approach with effective
leadership; ensure a culture of continuous improvement whilst
promoting an environment for staff to reach their full
potential.
Always ensure safe working, with a right first time
every time by everyone attitude, to produce a cost effective, quality
product whilst adhering to the Company’s policies and
procedures.
Requirements
- Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship and/or hold relevant engineering qualifications
- Management of a team of Engineers, in such position including but not limited to Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisory or Maintenance Team Leader in a hands-on capacity
- Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance and coordinating teams in completing them.
- Computer literate and can completely reports on works carried out, completed and any issues encountered etc.
- Any experience of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanical drive systems and general factory / plant maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment is advantageous
- Ability to prioritise and delegate workload and use own initiative in a fast-paced production environment
- Exposure and promotion of Health & Safety is essential and preferably with a relevant qualification e.g. IOSH
- Proactive work attitude and keen to get stuck in
- Friendly, adaptable and ability to inspire others
