Our client, a highly successful business based in Norwich are seeking an experienced qualified accountant to join their growing team as a Management Accountant. This is an exciting time to join the business in a role that will offer progression and the ability to help develop the future of the finance function of this business. 

Reporting to the Finance Manager the purpose of this role is to oversee the preparation of divisional/group month end processes and continue the centralisation of month end reporting. The role is also responsible for monitoring, preserving and reporting on the Companies pricing and costing information.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensuring divisional and group month end results are prepared in an accurate and timely manner.
• Preparation of central, manufacturing and group month end results, including prepayments and accruals.
• Ensuring timely preparation of central balance sheet reconciliations and assisting in clearing reconciling items.
• Supervision of team members and delegation of responsibilities to support team development.
• Drive the centralisation of divisional month-end reporting. Proactively seeking process improvements in the month end reporting process and other areas of responsibility.
• Overseeing the maintenance of the fixed asset and CAPEX register.
• Responsibility for all aspects of costing information across the group, monitoring pricing/discount performance, developing price recommendations, assisting with the implementation of new products and maintaining the sliding scale and commission structures within the accounting system.

Ideal candidates will be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified, have strong communication skills, experience of working in a dynamic team environment and a keen attitude to progressing and development.
