For more than 118 years, Backus Hospital has been the primary source of healthcare services for much of Eastern Connecticut. We are home to the only trauma center in New London and Windham counties, and are the only area hospital with LIFE STAR helicopter services. We deliver and coordinate a continuum of high-quality healthcare with the goal of improving the health of our communities.

JOB SUMMARY
Supports HHC East Region President and serves as leadership liaison to direct administrative and operational activities of the East Region President’s office. Oversees and manages governance-related activities for the East Region. Manages key relationships for the East Region President with supervisory responsibilities. Ensures the successful completion of HHC and East Region initiatives and projects through project planning, management and execution.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • Five (5) years minimum in a strategic role in a healthcare or related industry. Supervisory and healthcare experience preferred
  • Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills required
