Manager, Business Administration

About the role:
Working within the UK&I Market & Customer Excellence Team, this role serves as a great platform for an individual to take ownership and drive key strategic initiatives whilst expand their knowledge of multi-segment, strategic customer needs, as well as gain great exposure across Mastercard’s UK&I division. Reporting to the Director of Market & Commercial Strategy you will work across a broad variety of initiatives that ultimately support the successful execution of the UK&I strategy.

Supporting the strategy:
• Working with appointed business leaders to drive priority initiatives in support of the UK&I strategy. This could include project management, setting up tracking & reporting processes, supporting go-to-market planning, as well as conducting research & analysis.
• Taking a lead for the UK&I division on the Voice of Customer survey, ensuring results & learnings are turned into actionable plans.
• Keeping up to date with key industry trends and Mastercard priorities to identify potential impacts on our business.
• Developing professional and structured documents to support strategy, executive reporting, and Board of Directors presentations.

Customer & leadership team meetings:
• Supporting the planning, co-ordination, and facilitation of a programme of workshops & meetings for customers & internal teams, sponsored by the Division President.
• Working with the meeting lead to create thought-provoking and engaging content, relevant to the audience.
• Capturing minutes, actions, and next steps, drive alignment and outputs with internal teams to ensure timely follow-up.
• Working alongside the Events Team to co-ordinate meeting logistics.

About you:
• Highly motivated with a desire to gain broad experience of the Mastercard business and UK&I payments industry.
• Exceptional relationship building and stakeholder management skills up to Executive level, demonstrating credibility & confidence.
• Strong influencing skills and ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Clear ability to problem solve and probe to drive the right outcomes for Mastercard and its customers.
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and using your own initiative to drive outputs.
• Well-organised and comfortable managing multiple workstreams/projects at any given time.
