of a fast growing highly regulated manufacturing business, to recruit
a Manufacturing Engineer (NPI) for their factory in
Sheffield.
The successful candidate will become part of an

The opportunity:
- We are looking for an ambitious and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to join the team to provide support to the business in relation to Engineering, providing a high-quality service to the aerospace industry. The successful candidate will be required to successfully implement machining strategies in order to manufacture components to customer specification.
The role:
- Create Manufacturing Methods.
- Produce CNC programs using Siemens NX.
- Simulation of CNC Programs using Vericut.
- Provide technical support and expertise to the production team.
- Produce technical production documentation, SOP’s, Tooling sheets, inspection sheets etc.
- Design and development of work holding methods including technical drawings.
- Understanding of measurement methods and techniques.
- Interpretation of technical drawings.
- Provide technical support to projects and commercial teams.
- Perform any other duties which may be reasonably associated with the job in order to meet the needs of the company.
The successful candidate
- Highly motivated individual.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Degree/ Apprenticeship in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years industrial experience.
- Strong knowledge of CNC Machining.
- 3 to 5 years CAD / CAM experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage own time and workload effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
