Manufacturing Readiness Project Manager

What's the opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing Programme Management, you will play a pivotal part in leading the manufacturing readiness activity with our contract manufacturing partner, ensuring robust and structured processes are in place to ensure product launch rigor and readiness.

What you will do:

• Collaborate cross company and with our manufacturing partner to assess, track and coordinate all required implementation activities to ensure manufacturing readiness
• Be the primary interface for ensuring all stages of Manufacturing readiness are communicated and delivered between FORSEVEN and our manufacturing partner
• Ensure Business Systems and Processes, IT systems integration, labour acquisition and training profiles are aligned to Product Development Plan milestones and gateways
• Developing and implementing new Business processes as required to support Manufacturing launch
• Maintaining a robust Manufacturing Readiness Register for full status and risk traceability
• Be the main point of contact between vehicle Programme teams and our Contract Manufacturing partner to ensure a mutual approach to manufacturing readiness
• Managing and aiding the relevant teams both internally and externally to ensure aligned readiness
• Undertaking regular site visits to the Contract Manufacturing facility, overseeing operations, addressing issues, and ensuring alignment with standards and requirements.

Who you are:

• Proven track record in successfully managing automotive product launches, encompassing all stages from planning to execution
• Experience of Launch Readiness requirements within an Automotive / manufacturing environment
• Structured and organised approach and methodology with track record of process implementation and management
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and the bilateral obligations of Vehicle Programme teams and Manufacturing teams to ensure robust launch
• A ‘can do’ attitude and are always focused on achieving great results
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders & drive towards a common goal
• A calm multitasker who successfully managed, prioritise and executes against deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
• A positive influence on those around you with a passion for creating an inclusive environment and fostering a culture of innovation
• Able to travel frequently
