We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Shift Manager (Nightshift) for one of our clients based in Milton Keynes a global manufacturing company

Duties & scope of the role:
* Manage team and site on the night shift
* Control and ensure site KPI's are met including cost and delivery
* Adhering to customers service level agreements
* Continuous improvement
* Improve production yields and reducing unnecessary processes
* Implementation of lean manufacturing & 5S
* Working closely with other Shift Managers
* Co-co-ordinating training and managing labour
* Measuring/collating of statistics and reporting
* Health, safety and environmental awareness ensuring all factors monitored on shift
* Handle disciplinary, grievance, appraisals
* We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and attributes:
* Previous experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment FMCG
Excellent knowledge of the Lean principles
* IOSH or NEBOSH
* Manufacturing/Engineering Degree (preferred)
* Six Sigma or Lean certification
Shift pattern:
3 shifts per week Sunday/Monday/Tuesday for 4 weeks & Wednesday/Thursday/Friday (Saturdays on a rota during peak period)
