We are looking for a Global Payer Strategy Solutions Asset Lead – Epilepsy who is curious, a good communicator with strong leadership to join us in our Global Payer Strategy Solutions  team, based either in our HQ in Brussels, Belgium or our offices in Slough, UK.
 

About the role

You will have a critical Integrator role, accountable for the Global Value & Access Strategy for Brand(s)/indication(s) from peri-launch through critical stages of the Brand Lifecycle.

You will drive the global Access, Pricing, and External Engagement (APEX) Hub and global product teams in:

  • Translation of the current and anticipated market pricing and reimbursement environment into actionable insights, recommendations, and implications for commercialization strategies.
  • Development and execution of the launch/lifecycle Global Value & Access Strategy to achieve, maintain, and expand market access, price, and reimbursement.
  • Support to Regional and Local teams in preparation for price and access negotiations and Health Technology Assessments submissions at launch and critical stages of Brand lifecycle.


Who you’ll work with

You will report into the Head of Global Payer Strategy Solutions and work closely with the Mission Leads, Asset Global Product Teams and the Access & Pricing community.

What you’ll do

  • Integrate multi-disciplinary market inputs (e.g., Region & Local, Medical, Marketing, market research, Global Health Economics, Policy) to build a deep understanding of payer and market access requirements relevant to the assigned product(s).
  • Anticipate external trends in the health policy, pricing and access environment to identify opportunities and threats to assigned program.
  • Evolve the access strategy and develop final launch price policy, including value-based agreements and negotiation guidance.
  • Takes the lead in the rollout of the global strategic plans, product- and disease state knowledge, and global value deliverables to Region/Local APEX teams.
  • Prioritize and translate access requirements into product specifications, options to address the requirements, and the associated rewards and risks.
  • Cultivate input from Regions and Archetype/priority markets to support the Global Product Strategy, evidence program and Value Access & Pricing strategy.

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or related discipline with significant experience in the (Bio)Pharmaceutical industry, including experience in any of: product launches, commercial business model, regulatory processes, evidence generation, policy, patient advocacy, or pricing and access.
  • Several years of experience in market access-related functions in the (bio)pharmaceutical industry or consulting, could include: health economics, outcomes research, or health technology assessment.
  • Experience leading teams, projects, or programs including allocation of resources. Experience in Epilepsy much appreciated.
  • At least a couple years of experience in a global oversight role in the development of access strategy and/or payer evidence will be a preferential criterion.
  • Demonstrate curiosity, have courage for decision making, collaborate with others, and be accountable for own contributions to company performance.
  • Unquestioned integrity and business ethics.
