    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
    • Adobe Suite skills is a plus. Minimum Photoshop and Illustrator.
    • Organizational Skills
    • Self-Starter
    • Marketing or Data degree is a plus.
    • Social Media driven.
    • Public Speaking / People person.
  • Starting pay:  $15.00 per hour.

The Marketing Intern reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, holds duties related to sales and marketing. The position entails a need for excellent communication skills; ability to multi-task on a variety of projects simultaneously, accurate distribution of pertinent information both internally to all departments as well as to clients and related vendors. Excellent client skills in presentation and marketing ability.

Key Responsibilities:

•            Hands-on support at events, unit set up, program implementation

•            Database management

•            Coordinates content needed for marketing initiatives

•            Coordinates field marketing requests and activities

•            Works within provided budgets and guidelines

•            Assists with presentations and proposals

•            Develops and maintains strong working relationships with field managers.

•            Works with vendors and agencies

•            Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data.

•            Maintains promotional inventory, fulfillment

Preferred Qualifications:

•            1 year experience in marketing

•            Marketing or similar major preferred

•     Background or interest in hospitality/food

•            Proficient in MS Office; experience with Adobe suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and CMS systems a plus.

•            Multi-task in deadline-driven team environment, adjust to changing priorities

•            Excellent written and ASL communications and interpersonal skills

•            Attention to detail

• Marketing or business related field

•            Flexible schedule, evenings/weekends

Job Summary

As an intern , you will be working closely with Compass Group leaders to develop skills and competencies to be successful in your prospective industry. You will gain valuable experience in any of the following areas: operations, marketing, administration, guest services, problem solving, planning and implementation of innovative projects, and client relationship skills. This internship involves hands-on experiences which will provide opportunities for your personal success and development.  This position is paid, but not eligible for benefits such as medical, relocation, or housing.
