The Global Marketing team is seeking a Marketing Operations, Product Life Cycle Manager to lead and be responsible for managing the day-to-day marketing operations activities for our Instrumentation category at our Runcorn and Shanghai manufacturing sites. The candidate will have experience in marketing product life cycle management, and will work cross-functionally with Operations, Sourcing, Quality, R&D/Sustaining Engineering, Commercial Excellence and Service teams to drive operational excellence with all aspects which impact the life and health of Epredia’s Instrumentation category. This will be a facility-based position based at our Runcorn manufacturing site. The position will allow remote flexibility to support a minimum three day per week on-site work schedule. 

What will you do?

  • Act as Marketing liaison on the site management leadership team to support all required Marketing activities and deliverables for the site to execute on strategic product initiatives.
  • Work closely with Global Marketing IBLs, RMMs and cross-functional department managers to drive operational excellence around Epredia’s Instrumentation category.
  • Own and execute Epredia’s Global SIOP Forecasting process to support the overall Epredia SIOP and production planning activities for the Instrumentation category.
  • Manage, update and maintain Global SIOP Instrumentation forecasting data.
  • Manage cadence to collect, audit and approve monthly SIOP Forecast from regional commercial teams.
  • Align monthly with Marketing IBLs to ensure regional forecasts align with Epredia's business goals and financial expectations.
  • Report to Commercial Finance any changes in forecast outlook.
  • Work cross-functionally with Global SIOP team to analyze, review, and support requirements for required production and inventory levels to achieve target OTIF metric each month.
    • Support daily work and timely communication for product issues that materially impact customer service levels and/or period revenue expectations (monthly /quarterly/annually). 
    • Support required Marketing input for Epredia Global and Site Change Control process.
    • Execute complex analysis utilizing large or novel data sets to support the global marketing team by generating monthly/quarterly reports.
    • Forecast and/or predict customer behavior based upon trends, research and analysis.
    • Standardize and improve monthly reporting and ensures timely distribution to stakeholders.
  • Support material new vendor applications.
  • Manage and update product technical information, as needed, to support Marketing and Commercial activities and requirements.
  • Maintenance of commercial product data in global ERP system to support efficient and accurate commercial activities of Epredia.

Skills you need for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a data analysis and reporting position required, preferable within a Marketing or Commercial Operations environment.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytic skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills, writing skills, communication skills, consulting skills and ability to work within a team
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite applications, particularly Excel, required.
  • Proven track record of analyzing financial and administrative data and process improvements.
  • Experience with data extraction and report building required, experience with SAP preferred.
