Full Job Description

Mason

Permanent, Full Time at 40 hours per week

£31,422 (plus 5% call out/multiskilled enhancement once probation completed) 

The role offers:

- 27 days holiday (plus Banks) 

- Occupational Sick Pay at 3 month full pay and 3 month half pay

- Pension 4% employer contribution which includes Death in Service Benefit

  • Working alone or as part of a team you will undertake duties of a mason on building maintenance and improvement work including indoor and outdoor plastering, roofing works, fencing and rendering
  • You will be included in our out of hour’s service (after probation passed) which brings the additional benefit of overtime and of a 5% call out/multi-skilled salary enhancement. 
  • The role requires the ability for the post holder to hold basic skills in various trade disciplines
  • Ensure works provided are of the highest quality, efficient and good value for money for our customers

Qualifications and Experience

  • You will hold an NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification in the relevant trade
  • You will have previous experience of a wide variety of masonry maintenance works and of working in occupied domestic properties
  • Experience in providing excellent customer service and developing relationships

  • Have good customer service skills along with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure
