Maths Tutor Opportunity in Chelmsford

Location : Chelmsford 

Salary : £10 - £30 per hour 

Start Date : Immediately 

Contract Type : Full-time 

Are you a passionate Maths Tutor with a knack for making complex concepts understandable? Do you enjoy helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals? Our schools in Chelmsford are seeking dedicated and experienced Maths Tutors to join our team immediately.

About the Role:

As a Maths Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing targeted support to students who require additional help with their mathematical skills. You will work closely with individual students or small groups, tailoring your approach to meet their specific needs and learning styles. Whether you're helping students prepare for exams, supporting them with homework assignments, or reinforcing key concepts, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in their academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide one-to-one or small group tuition to students in Maths, focusing on areas where they need additional support

- Develop personalized learning plans and resources to meet the individual needs of each student

- Use a variety of teaching methods and techniques to make Maths engaging and accessible

- Monitor students' progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed to ensure they are making progress towards their goals

- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on students' progress

Requirements:

- Strong mathematical background and a passion for helping others succeed

- Previous experience tutoring Maths, either formally or informally

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students

- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
