Mechanical Design Engineer (Rotating Machinery) - Maidenhead - up to 66,000 + Benefits - Ref 1600

I am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Maidenhead. Salary up to 66,000 + Benefits,

To cope with the current workload and in line with their expansion plans they the need to recruit for a Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis.

In this role as a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing engineering solutions from concept through to manufacture. This role is heavily focused on rotating machinery so you will be responsible for the necessary design and calculations associated with this. You will also create detailed designs and layouts for the rest of the engineered solution, the main manufacturing processes typically will be machining, sheet metal and fabrication.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience
• Experience designing rotating machinery - gears, motors, bearings etc
• 3D CAD experience (Ideally Inventor)
