What will you be doing? 

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will join Cwmbran  team to support our activities within the Aerospace  sector. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

• Designing and detail modelling of a variety of suite components to meet programme requirements. 
• Producing designs to meet specified cost/weight targets. 
• Participating in Design Reviews throughout the product lifecycle.
• Selecting and applicating of materials and processes that are appropriate to each design element. 
• Ensuring the successful integration of each design element within the product. 
• Participating in the validation of the product (using such methods as prototyping, test, DFMEA.

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

• Master’s degree in the relevant field.
• Experience in PTC Creo is a bonus. 
• Experience in the Aerospace sector is mandatory. 
• Knowledge of Cabin Seating design is a bonus.
