Mechanical Design Engineer

• Up to 38,480 Basic Salary

• 37 Hours a week

Our client is a reputable engineering firm specialisingin the manufacturing of forming tools, due to an increased order book we are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop drawings using Siemens NX
• Working closely with customers to refine design/solutions.
• End-to-end project management of individual engineered solutions
• Involvement in procurement of parts, materials and subcontract processes related to
• projects
• Recording of work information/data to help monitor costing and efficiency.
• Ensure traceability is always maintained on the appropriate Tools, Materials &Paperwork.

About you

• Engineering Qualifications to support experience
• HND/C or degree in Mechanical Engineering
• General engineering experience (i.e Turning, Milling and grinding)
• Knowledge of 3D CAD systems is essential
• Excellent customer service skills & conduct yourself in a professional manner at alltimes
• Good telephone manner
